Suzan Harrison Bio

I am excited to be a part of Mount Pleasant Community Schools and would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I started in the MTPCSD in 2014! I have taught K-1 Special Education at Van Allen Elementary and K-5 Special Education, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade at Salem Elementary.

My degrees include a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education with a minor in Art from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri; and a Master of Education (MAED) with specializations in Special Education and Early Childhood from Ashford University, in Clinton, Iowa. I also received my Inclusion Consultant Certificate from the University of Northern Iowa.

My husband, Brandon Harrison, also teaches elementary within the district. We have two boys, Finley and Leif. In my free time I enjoy singing with the Mount Pleasant Chorale and bowling.

I look forward to a great year with your child. Please do not hesitate to call, email, or arrange a meeting with me if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
