Portrait of a Graduate

A Portrait of a Graduate (POG) is a collective vision that outlines the essential skills and personal qualities students should develop throughout their K–12 experience to thrive beyond graduation. Created with input from students, educators, families, and community members, it serves as a compass for teaching and learning.

During the 2023–24 school year, our School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC) worked together to define our district’s unique vision—The Portrait of a Panther. This portrait highlights the six core competencies we believe are vital for every graduate: resilience, integrity, compassion, responsibility, communication, and problem-solving.
